T3SLA Innovations Market Strategy A Community Approach

When we started working on the product in 2018 that would come to be known at LifeWatch, our two priorities were simple: 1) create a device that could save lives by reliably detecting and treating opioid overdose; and, 2) facilitate every conceivable means to make the product solution available to everyone in need. Slack Enterprises and the T3SLA division are comprised of a team of dedicated professionals and community members who believe everyone deserves a chance to survive. Our market strategies are centered around maximizing product/solution availability over profitability. We develop market strategies to allow us to make our product solutions available to those in need whenever possible, regardless of socioeconomic status, and we employ community-based support systems to help make this possible. It all comes back to our core belief, that a community problem requires a community solution. Our team is focused on collaboration with the community, including working with Loyola University New Orleans to provide educational and career advancement opportunities for students, as well as working with treatment centers and addiction counselors to provide insight and assistance in product development and testing. Once completed, we believe treatment centers will be the center of a comprehensive distribution network for providing LifeWatch to the most affected persons in need, and are best-situated to assist in the rapid distribution of product solutions to communities across the nation.

LifeWatch Market Strategy

Our team has constructed a two-pronged approach to marketing the LifeWatch product solution in order to maximize profitability where possible, and in doing so allow us to increase our overall distribution to the affected public. Our marketing strategy is therefore based around three products.
LifeWatch Premium
LifeWatch Premium is our complete vision for what the solution to preventing opioid overdose deaths should look like. It incorporates the added functionality and utility of the LifeGuard app on users' smartphones to deliver complete and comprehensive protection for around $400, which would be covered for patients with health insurance or Medicaid. The LifeWatch Premium offers all the typical functionality of mainstream smart watches, with the added benefit of the protection only LifeWatch can offer to those afflicted with opioid use disorder. All LifeWatch models include expedited recycle and replace, which helps ensure that patients have the consistent life-saving protection offered by LifeWatch.
LifeWatch Basic
LifeWatch Basic is our product offering developed to provide the minimum adequate protection for patients without health insurance or Medicaid. It consists of the standalone LifeWatch product (with two 2mg doses of Naloxone), and does not have Bluetooth connectivity for smartphone app integration. It was designed to provide affordable coverage at a cost of under $150, and around $50 for patients who can demonstrate financial hardship. Additionally, through a community support program consisting of donors, we would be able to offer LifeWatch Basic at no cost to those with limited financial resources who apply for the program. By working with treatment centers around the country, we hope we can facilitate the widerange distribution of LifeWatch to everyone who seeks treatment for opioid use.
LifeGuard App
The LifeGuard app is the smartphone app designed for patients with LifeWatch Premium, offering the added utility of GPS location monitoring and SOS distress call feature, which can optionally notify first-responders of a patient's location and vitals when an overdose is detected and treated. Furthermore, it tracks patients' daily vitals related to their opioid use, and uses this data-tracking to alert them when their risk of overdose has increased, offering treatment resources in an attempt to prevent overdose before it happens. Users can optionally allow the app to submit use and vital data to T3SLA to help provide better insight into opioid use and overdose, and contribute to more accurate local and national statistical models. Finally, it includes 24/7 access to a treatment liason. Like other Rx apps already on the market, the $120 annual subscription would be covered by insurance or Medicaid.
